More than 200 FNers Joined JASH V

A lively and fun hunting was just held on May 30 in Jakarta. It was Jakarta Street Hunting (JASH) V organized by Fotografer. net members (FNers) of Jakarta. More than 200 participants took part in this event which held annually, and this year was the fifth. The numbers were much bigger than the estimated target which only 150 participants.

It was undeniable that the coordinators found some difficulties during the registration. Participants came from Jakarta and other region as well. They met and shared at this event. FN's dealer in Jakarta also used this event to sale FN's merchandises.

JASH V started at Museum Wayang as the meeting point. By holding their camera, they walked to their first destination, Asemka market. The route was around Pasar Asemka - Pancoran Raya - Gang Panti Pijat Jantung Sehat - Kemenangan III - Klenteng Toasebio - Klenteng Petak 9 - Pasar Petak 9 - Pancoran Raya - Pinangsia Raya - Stasiun Jakarta Kota - Museum Fatahillah - Museum Wayang. People around the area were amused by their presence.

The hunting became more special since Channel MNC RCTI reported it for their dummy television program. Tasha, MNC's host, became the queen that day. Not just her, the executive manager of Fotografer.net, RB Isworo, joined the show as well. It made it more alive. Putri Jawi by Jogja Photographers

Some of Yogyakarta photographers in collaboration with Fashion Salon arranged a model hunting themed "Putri Jawi" on May 31 at Omah Dhuwur. More than 30 photographers took part in this event. It aimed to find pre-wedding photographers and document the designs of Sisfika from Fashion Salon as well. Sisfika is a fashion designer who specify her works on kebaya, that’s why the theme was "Putri Jawi."

To adjust the setting and the theme, Omah Dhuwur was chosen as the location. It was a colonial mansion aged 150 years combining Javanesse and Dutch architecture completed with a new and classic furniture.

The model shooting divided into three session. First session, the participants were divided into three groups. They photographed models wearing kebaya designed by Sisfika. The models changed their kebaya into gown in the next session but some still wearing kebaya. The last session was the lively one. Instead of being tired, participants were becoming more enthusiastic in this last session.

Kebaya designed by Sisfika was not the only captivating object, the unique architecture and furniture were stealing attention as well. nana

Capturing Landscape with Yadi Yasin

The natural beauty of Morotai island in North Maluku attracted four members of Fotografer.net. They organized a small hunting on May 27 to 29. Yadi Yasin, renowned landscape photographer, was one of them. During the activity, he shared his knowledge on landscape photography to other participants.

They started from Tobelo harbor then sailed to Morotai island. While on the boat, they spent their time shooting several islands they passed by including Tulang island and Kakara island. Having sailed for 2.5 hours, they finally landed on Morotai island.

Their first spot was Juanga coast. They were photographing sunset while on this place. The next day, they went to a place called "Air Kaca" to shoot sunrise. Unfortunately, the rise of the sun was not in a good position, and the tide rose making it difficult to find a place for photographing sunrise. They ended their journey at this island by visiting Zum-zum island, Kapakapa island, Kokoya island and Dodola island.

KFT & Perphoma Celebrated Their Anniversary

KFT (Komunitas Fotografer Tangerang) celebrated their birthday (May 26) by organizing photo hunting in Situ Gunung, Sukabumi on May 24. They chose Situ Gunung because it's famous for the quiet lake, trees and the mist. The location was not too far from Tangerang. The morning glory and the ray of light were their objects.

On this second anniversary, they intended to photograph ray of light. The boats floating on the lake also stole their attention. Having finished their photo session at Situ Gunung, KFT moved to Curug Sawer, Cinumpang, about two kilometers from Situ Gunung. It was hard reaching the water fall. The path was covered with stone and up and down. This condition required sixteen participants to walk across the path. Unfortunately, after reaching the water fall, they were disappointed since too many visitors at that time made them unable to shoot freely. However, impressed by this hunting, they planned to go back to Situ Gunung in the future.

Meanwhile, Perphoma (Persatuan Photographer Madiun) - established on May 2004 - celebrated its 5th anniversary by organizing a photo hunting at Hutan Wisata Grape in Madiun regency, May 21. Model and pre-wedding photography were their hunting theme.

Forest, river, paddy field and 10 models - including kid models - were their shooting targets. After shooting session, about 80 participants joined a ritual of cutting tumpeng (ceremonial dish of yellow rice served in a cone shape) and had lunch together.

At present, Perphoma has 46 members. Beside photo hunting as a trimonthly agenda, several members frequently attend photography seminars. This community has already been legally registered and has had a notarial document since 2005. nana

Investing 17.4 Billion Yen for Nagasaki Canon Inc.
