Model Fainted at The 8th Sunday Morning Hunting

The 8th series of Sunday Morning Hunting was held by Kopata (Komunitas Photographer Amatir Jogjakarta), last Sunday (11/16). This time they chose Waduk Sermo, Kulon Progo as the hunting location. 50 Ethnography Photos on Show at Festival Kampung Toegoe

More than 50 photos made by kampung Toegoe society and Forum Kajian Antropologi Indonesia (FKAI) were showed at Festival Kampung Toegoe, last Saturday (11/15). It took place on Kompleks Gereja Tugu, Jl. Raya Tugu, Kelurahan Semper Utara, Jakarta Utara.

The photos were presenting their daily life including their cultural system. Kampung Toegoe society is a unique community due to their close relation to Portuguese. Their ancestors were Portuguese and until today, some of them speak in Portuguese. According to Umy at the Secretariat of FKAI, the photo exhibition aimed to perpetuate Toegoe society's cultural heritage and explore their potency.

FKAI held this exhibition in collaboration with Suku Dinas Kebudayaan dan Permuseuman Jakarta Utara. The opening ceremony was attended by the ambassadors of Portugal, Mozambique, and Timor Leste and was officially opened by Governor of Jakarta Fauzi Bowo. Macro Hunting by FNers of Palembang

Macro was the theme for photo hunting held on Sunday (11/9) by members of Fotografer.net (FNers) in Palembang. It started on the early day in order to capture macro objects around Bunderan Tugu Jakabaring, Palembang. Only 7 people joined the show, but it didn’t diminish their enthusiasm. Utilizing Flash for Fashion Photography

Workshop packed with hunting themed "Pump Up Your Flash For Fashion Photography" has been successfully held on November 8 at The Executive Club, Sultan Hotel, Jakarta. Eighty participants joined the event which was presented by DNA Event Factory and supported by Olympus Indonesia.

Not only professional photographers took part in this activity, hobbyist and junior high school students attended it as well. Harry Subastian, Head of Photographer of Harper's Bazaar Indonesia, as the speaker, presented a workshop about utilizing flash for fashion photography.
